Scientists have made an incredible discovery after finding a fruit that can kill cancer cells in just a few minutes.
The extract from this amazing berry can kill cancer cells in minutes and completely destroy tumors within 48 hours.
This groundbreaking find was uncovered by researchers at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Queensland, Australia.
The research study may be the most significant, most anticipated discovery in human history: The cure for cancer.
The fruit, Hylandia dockrillii, also known as Blushwood berry, has been proven to be 10,000 times more effective against cancer than chemotherapy.
A fruit that can kill cancer cells
During laboratory testing, this naturally occurring fruit was found to consist of compounds that began to kill cancer cells practically immediately.
Within minutes of application, cancer cells were eliminated, with entire tumors eradicated in less the two days.
According to The Guardian, scientists were able to destroy malignant tumors by utilizing a speculative drug stemmed from the seeds of the fruit discovered in north Queensland rainforests.
The drug the extracted from the berries is called EBC-46.
It was produced by drawing out a compound from the berry of the blushwood tree, a plant just discovered in specific locations of the Atherton Tablelands.
A single injection of the drug straight into melanoma in the lab, in addition to into cancers of the head, neck, and colon in animals, permanently eradicated the tumors in under 48 hours for more than 70% of cases, the research study’s lead author, Dr. Glen Boyle, stated.
“In preclinical trials, we injected it into our models, and within five minutes, you see a purpling of the area that looks like a bruise,” Boyle, from the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute stated.
“About 24 hours later, the tumor area goes black, a couple of days later you see a scab, and at around the 1.5-week mark, the scab falls off, leaving clean skin with no tumor there.
“The speed certainly surprised me.”
Scientists think the drug sets off a cellular action which cuts off the blood supply to the tumor by opening it up.
“That’s why we see a bruise-like situation forming in the tumor,” Boyle said.
“This seems to lead to an activation of the body’s own immune system which then comes in and cleans up the mess.”
It has actually been utilized by vets in about 300 cases of cancer in household pets such as canines, felines, and horses.
The team has yet to test whether EBC-46 would work to deal with cancers that had actually infected other parts of the body, known as metastatic cancers, Boyle stated.
The drug is being advanced as a human and veterinary pharmaceutical through QBiotics, a subsidiary of the business which found the drug, called EcoBiotics.
The company is also exploring the potential for a blushwood plantation.
Ethical approval was just recently granted for phase 1 human scientific trials, but even if these show can effectively kill cancer cells in humans, it was not likely the drug would replace traditional chemotherapy treatment, Boyle stated.
“Chemotherapy is still used because it is very effective for a lot of people,” he said.
“But EBC-46 could perhaps be used in people who, for some reason, chemotherapy doesn’t work [for], or for elderly patients whose body can’t sustain another round of chemotherapy treatment.”
The preclinical trial is financed by QIMR Berghofer, and the National Health and Medical Research Council and the outcomes were released in the journal PLOS One.
Where do Blushwood Berries come from?
According to Healthy & Natural World, Blushwood berries are the fruit of the blushwood tree.
This tree is known to grow in only one area of the world: the rainforests of Far North Queensland, Australia.
These tropical trees are not found anywhere else in the world but grow in abundance near Australia’s northeastern tip.
These particular trees require extremely niche conditions to flourish– conditions which can only be found in particular parts of Far North Queensland, Australia.
Considering their effectiveness as proven by the latest cancer research published in PLOS One, experts are now investigating the possiblity of them being grown in a greenhouse environment so that individuals all over the world could take advantage of their cancer-killing properties.
What types of cancer are Blushwood Berries known to cure?
Dr. Glen Boyle’s research team utilized an experimental drug produced from the seeds of blushwood berries called EBC-46.
They used this drug to deal with spots of cancer malignancy (a fatal type of skin cancer) on pets, felines, and horses.
The subjects were identified by vets and offered a bad prognosis for recovery
Most of the candidates were being referred for euthanasia prior to taking part in the research study.
Surprisingly, these animals that had been on death’s door prior to the research study had their cancer malignancy growths vanish after treatment in the laboratory by Dr. Boyle and his group of researchers.
Growths disappeared within 48 Hours
When the EBC-46 was injected into the cancerous cells on the subjects, the tumors reacted by turning a dark color, then falling off.
The derivative from the Blushwood berry is thought to cut off the oxygen supply to the cancer cells.
The lack of oxygen will kill cancer cells and destroys the tumors without the requirement for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation treatment.
The researchers reported that most of the subjects’ growths– previously considered a lost cause by vets– were gone within 48 hours of being injected with EBC-46.
Under the microscopic lens, the private cancer cells started shriveling up and dying within a few minutes of contact with the EBC-46.
For the first time in history, we may actually see the end of cancer-related deaths.
