FLASHBACK: The Time Obama Booted Guest From The WH, But The Press Didn’t Care

Looking back at the liberal media hypocrisy and bias

Presdient Donald Trump‘s heated exchanges with establishment reporters have been frequently used as ammunition for accusations that he is censoring the press.

Trump has called CNN’s Jim Acosta a “rude, terrible person,” “fake news,” and “enemy of the people,” much to the delight of left-leaning media outlets who use it as an excuse to smear the president.

The attacks on Trump ranged from claims the White House shared a doctored video, to accusations he was smothering the press.

But one thing can be counted on from the media, is they have become professional ‘Trump blamers.’

But you only have to dig a little to see their hypocrisy.

Flashback to the LGBT Pride Month event in 2015:

The 44th president Barack Obama was a little less patient than Trump was with Acosta when an activist at a press event confronted him.

Transgender activist Jennicet Gutiérrez shouted at Obama demanding he stop deporting LGBT illegal immigrants, The NY Times reported at the time.

But Obama promptly shut Gutiérrez down saying:

“Listen, you’re in my house.”

“You’re not going to — you’re not going to get a good response from me by interrupting me like this. … No, no, no, no. No, no. No,” he said.

“Shame on you. You shouldn’t be doing this.”

Instead of outrage from the press, the audience shouted its approval and chanted, “Obama! Obama! Obama!”

“Can we escort this person out?” Obama said.

“Come on.”

Now, imagine if Trump had done the same thing?

Imagine the outrage from the liberal media?

Unsurprisingly, Obama’s actions were covered positively by the media, with almost every outlet labeling Gutiérrez as a “heckler.”

CNN had a typical biased headline:

“Obama to White House heckler: ‘You’re in my house!’“

You can imagine the headline they would have come up with it was Trump.

Back in 2012, Daily Caller reporter, Neil Munro, shouted questions at Obama similar to Jim Acosta, but Obama simply cut him off.

Predictably, the media reported the incident as “heckling.”

To put things in perspective:

Acosta – First amendment hero

Munro – Someone who rudely interrupted Obama

This ladies and gentlemen are how the press is hopelessly biased.
