Calls for Sadiq Khan to resign are now becoming more apparent
Following Sadiq Kahn’s ‘go ahead’ for the ‘Trump baby’ balloon to fly above the houses of parliament, a new crowd-funding campaign to get an infantile inflatable London Mayor went viral before finally reaching its goal in less than 24 hours.
Rather than focusing on tackling the knife crime epidemic currently sweeping London, Sadiq Kahn decided to put his focus on giving the “Trump baby” the green light – which has now spectacularly backfired in his face.
“In light of the Donald Trump ‘Baby Trump’ [balloon] being allowed to fly over London during his visit to the U.K., let’s get a ‘baby Khan’ one and see if FREE SPEECH applies to all and whether or not [London Mayor Sadiq Khan] and the London assembly will also approve this,” the campaign’s description read.
Calls for Sadiq Khan to resign are now becoming more apparent following his failure to tackle home-grown problems, highlighted by his ‘Trump baby balloon’ approval.
Khan approved a “baby Trump” float for Trump’s July 13 visit to London, as a planned protest are to take place by vocal opponents of Trump, Sky News reported.
According to The DailyCaller: Khan approved a “baby Trump” float for Trump’s July 13 visit to London, where a planned protest is scheduled to take place by vocal opponents of Trump, Sky News reported.
The “baby Khan” campaign was so successful it entered “stretch” fundraising, wherein the extra money will go toward a second float, this one being Brexit-themed. Any surplus after that will go to a charity, the campaign says.
Trump was a strong supporter of the U.K. leaving the European Union, and Brexit leader Nigel Farage even joined then-candidate Trump on the campaign trail in the 2016 election.
The appeal reads: “To have a giant size Sadiq Khan, ‘Baby Khan’ balloon fly over London to demonstrate our unhappiness with him as our Mayor of London.”
Some vocal London citizens have demonstrated against the London mayor, particularly with his progressive rhetoric and crime-related policies.
“Under Sadiq Khan, we have seen crime sky rocket to unprecedented levels. People in London don’t feel safe and they aren’t safe, 81 murders this year alone! Khan Out,” the campaign added.
