2016 Democratic presidential nominee tweets following death
Hillary Clinton‘s youngest brother, Tony Rodham, died on Friday night, according to developing reports.
The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee tweeted calling him “kind” and “generous.”
“It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today,” Clinton wrote in a post on Saturday morning.
“When he walked into a room, he’d light it up with laughter.”
Rodham did not appear to be involved in his sister Hillary’s 2016 run for the presidency, however, he did campaign for some stops in Pennsylvania.
Rodham said in 1999 that he had both benefited and suffered from his sister and President Bill Clinton’s rise to power.
“It can go both ways,” Rodham said at the time.
“There’s some wonderful things that have happened to me because of my relationship with Hillary and Bill, and there have been some really terrible things that have happened to me.”
We lost my brother Tony last night. It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today. When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter. He was kind, generous, & a wonderful husband to Megan & father to Zach, Simon, & Fiona. We’ll miss him very much.

A cause of death is yet to be determined.
Rodham is survived by wife Megan Madden and his three children: Zachary, Simon, and Fiona.
Rodham was previously married to Nicole Boxer, the former Sen. Barbara Boxer’s daughter.
This is a breaking story, more as we get it.
