IRAN Threatens To Cut Off ALL OIL To United States In Retaliation For Sanctions

The bold move could potentially spark a war between the two nations

In a seemingly provocative stance, Iran has threatened to cut off all of its Gulf oil supply to the US to sanctions imposed by the US.

The bold move could potentially spark a war between the two nations if unresolved.

President Hassan Rouhani remained defiant against US sanctions, maintaining his stance to cut off international oil sales from the Gulf.

America should know… it is not capable of preventing the export of Iran’s oil,” Rouhani said at a televised rally in Semnan province.

“If it ever tries to do so… no oil will be exported from the Persian Gulf,” he added.

Iran has threatened it would blockade the Gulf in response to pressure from international interests since the 1980s but has never followed through with the threat.

Washington has reimposed sanctions, which includes an oil embargo since it withdrew from a landmark 2015 nuclear deal between Tehran and major powers in May.

The country has now promised to decrease Iran’s oil sales to zero but has awarded provisional waivers to eight states.

In July, Rouhan said he would close the Gulf when he warned the US “should not play with the lion’s tail.”

Trump then downplayed the economic consequence of sanctions, asserting the media was amplifying the situation.

“No hyperinflation, no massive unemployment will threaten us. People should stop saying such things in the papers,” Trump told the crowd.

General Charles “Chuck” Wald claims we are now witnessing the “beginning of the end” for Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

The country has been under the rule of the Ayatollahs since 1979, the year when the “Islamic Revolution” brought Ayatollah Khomeini to power, replacing the Western-backed Shah.
