Former vice president orders ‘all trace’ of Trumps removed from official residence
Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is demanding that the White House is deep-cleaned and subjected to a full “exorcism” to remove “all trace” of President Donald Trump.
Former Vice President Biden is hoping to move into the 55,000sq ft mansion if he wins the election.
Should the Electoral College officially declare Biden the next president, he would move in after the January 21 inauguration.
But he is allready insisting that the 132-room property be thoroughly disinfected beforehand.
“There is a five-hour window between presidents,” White House historian Kate Andersen Brower explains.
“That’s when 95 staff will have to pack up all the Trump possessions and move the Bidens in. They will clean or replace everything.”
A team in hazmat suits will spray the entire residence with disinfectant after Trump leaves and remove carpets, curtains, and furniture.
“The incoming president and first lady get to choose their new furniture from a secret warehouse,” Ms. Andersen Brower told CNN.
A member of Biden’s “transition team” added: “Mr. Trump’s administration has been riddled with the coronavirus.
“The Bidens are taking no chances.
“The entire property will be deep-cleaned down to replacing doorknobs and taking down soft furnishings.
“The virus can linger on hard surfaces so the entire residence and executive offices will be wiped clean with disinfectant to exorcise any trace of Team Trump.”
However, those hoping for Trump to leave the White House may have another four years to wait.
The president and his legal team are continuing their battle for election integrity, despite recent setbacks in the Supreme Court.
President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani has vowed to keep fighting after the SCOTUS rejected the Texas lawsuit on Friday.
Giuliani warned that, despite the setback, Trump’s legal team is “not finished” battling for the election.
Meanwhile, the president angrily rounded on Attorney General Bill Barr for failing to reveal Biden’s son Hunter Biden is under federal criminal investigation.
The younger Biden is currently being probed for money laundering and fraud over his shady foreign business deals while his father was vice president.
Trump slammed AG Barr as a “big disappointment” for concealing the investigation in the run-up to the election.
