Biden’s support continues to plummet

Just 46 percent of Americans who voted in the 2020 election would vote for Joe Biden again, according to a I&I/TIPP poll.

The poll asked respondents:

“If the presidential election were held today, and the following were the candidates, for whom would you vote?”

They were given the following choices:

“Donald Trump, the Republican”

“Joe Biden, the Democrat”

“Not sure”

“Prefer not to answer”

Just 46 percent of those who voted in 2020 said they would vote for Biden today.

The figure is five full points less than his official 51.3 percent in the 2020 presidential election.

The poll revealed 49 percent of women would vote for Biden today, which was down 57 percent in November of 2020.

Biden also lost support from “moderates,” down 47 percent.

Out of those earning between $50,000 to $75,000, who have been hit by Biden inflation, he lost ten points (54 percent to 44 percent).

Biden almost also plummeted among Democrats, as just 88 percent saying they would vote for him now, with 93 percent voting for him in November.

Biden support dropped among those with some college education, sinking eight points from 52 percent to 44 percent.

Biden also lost 5 points (55 percent to 50 percent) among those with a bachelor’s degree.

The poll sampled 1,305 adults from September 1-3 with a margin of error of 2.8 points.
