Federal records show financial problems – lawyer Avenatti says debts now ‘paid in full’…

The third woman to come forward with accusations of sexual assault against Judge Brett Kavanaugh has a history of money troubles and huge unpaid tax bills, according to state and federal records.

55-year-old Julie Swetnick claims she witnessed Kavanaugh, and his friends, drug and “gang rape” girls at parties during the early 1980s.

Swetnick also claims to have been the victim of one of these “rape trains,” but have failed to offer any proof or the allegations, or a reason as to why she has never reported the alleged crimes to the police before coming forward now, over 30 years later.

The estranged father of the latest accuser, Martin Swetnick, has also spoken out to say he is “shocked” by the claims his daughter has leveled against President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.

Tax records show that Swetnick failed to pay an eye-watering $100,000 in taxes and fees in Maryland and to the Internal Revenue Service since 2015.

In October 2015, the state of Maryland filed a $62,000 tax charge against her Washington, D.C. home, declaring she owed $32,000 in back taxes dating up until 2008, with the additional $30,000 being accumulated interest.

According to her attorney, toxic porn lawyer Michael Avenatti, she has now paid off all her debts in full.

According to The Daily Mail, Swetnick also allegedly owed $40,303 to the IRS stemming from unpaid 2014 taxes, ending in a federal tax lien on her home in October 2017.

That charge was somehow resolved in March of 2018 when the debt was wiped.

Swetnick, an IT consultant who owns a company called International Business Solutions, says in an online resume that she has worked for the State Department, the Department of Justice, and other federal agencies. 

Her lawyer, Michael Avenatti, said his client currently possesses a federal security clearance, saying:

“They have been fully paid and are irrelevant to her claims.

“Why are you digging up dirt on and attacking a sexual abuse victim?”

Swetnick came forward on Wednesday to claim in the early 80s she witnessed Brett Kavanaugh and his high school classmate Mark Judge drug and sexually assault girls at high school parties.

Swetnick declared in an affidavit that she met Kavanaugh and Judge at a party in 1980 or 1981.

Swetnick, who graduated from Gaithersburg High School in 1980, was three years older than the boys at the time.

She also attended a public high school, while the two boys attended the elite Washington prep school Georgetown Prep.

Kavanaugh, who has so far denied all of the sexual assault accusations against him, said he has never met Swetnick.

“This is ridiculous and from the Twilight Zone,” he said on Wednesday.

“I don’t know who this is and this never happened.”

Swetnick’s parents Martin and her late mother Elaine were both government employees.

Her father worked for NASA as a lunar scientist and her mother Elaine was a geologist with the Atomic Energy Commission.

He told the Washington Post that he was shocked at the accusations, but had been almost entirely estranged from his daughter for ten years.

He said she was a “typical girl,” adding:

“She was not shy.

“She was a good-looking girl.”

But he said he had little insight into her high school years as he had been traveling a lot and added:

“She lived her life. We didn’t discuss it.”

She had failed to complete college and later became a web developer, gaining government contracts. 

“She never went to college, but she bootstrapped herself and became a computer expert,” her father said.

“She’s a sharp woman.”

Swetnick said in an affidavit that she attended at least ten parties with Kavanaugh and Judge between ’81 and ’83.

She claims she witnessed them spiking “punch” drinks with drugs and alcohol in order to get female partygoers incapacitated and form group “sex trains” on them.

Swetnick said she witnessed groups of boys raping the intoxicated girls, and saw boys lining up outside bedrooms to wait their turn to have group sex with the young women.

“I also witnessed efforts by Mark Judge, Brett Kavanaugh,  and others to cause girls to become inebriated and disoriented so they could be ‘gang-raped’ in a side room or bedroom by a ‘train’ of numerous boys,” she claims in her affidavit.

“I have a firm recollection of seeing boys lined up outside rooms at many of these parties waiting for their ‘turn’ with a girl inside the room,” she added.

According to Swetnick, she saw Kavanaugh and Judge queuing in line during these group rape incidents.

Swetnick said she was also gang-raped at one of these parties in 1982 after having her drink spiked with what she believes was Quaaludes.

She said Kavanaugh and Judge were also at this party but did not specify whether the two boys engaged in assaulting her.

“In approximately 1982, I became a victim of one of these ‘gang’ or ‘train’ rapes where Mark Judge and Brett Kavanaugh were present,” she said.

“During the incident, I was incapacitated without my consent and unable to fight off the boys raping me.”

Swetnick attended Montgomery County Community College after graduating from high school in 1980. She later took IT certification courses, according to her online resume.

She lives at a Washington, D.C. apartment complex.

She did not answer her door on Wednesday and her attorney has been contacted for comment.
