Liberal ‘Frozen’ actress says the prince shouldn’t ‘kiss someone if they’re sleeping!’
Liberal Hollywood actress Kristen Bell has spoken out to condemn the “offensive” Disney cartoon “Snow White,” as the prince in the story didn’t get the sleeping princess’s “consent” when he kissed her.
The star of the animated film Frozen has caused outrage online after she blasted the classic Brothers Grimm film for teaching children “false messages about consent.”
Despite the fact that the prince saved Snow White’s life by kissing her to revive her, ultimately resulting in the pair living happily ever after, Bell slammed the scene, saying, “you cannot kiss someone if they’re sleeping!”
Earlier this week, actress Keira Knightley announced to the world that she had banned her three-year-old daughter from watching the films “Cinderella” and “The Little Mermaid” because they “send false messages on female empowerment.”
Speaking with Parents, Bell expressed how she loves reading to her daughters and discussing the stories every time they put the book down.
In the case of “Snow White,” Bell used that to teach the girls a lesson about consent and talking to strangers.
According to the Daily Wire, Bell explained, “Every time we close Snow White I look at my girls and ask, ‘Don’t you think it’s weird that Snow White didn’t ask the old witch why she needed to eat the apple? Or where she got that apple?’ I say, ‘I would never take food from a stranger, would you?’ And my kids are like, ‘No!’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m doing something right.’”
In fact, one could even say that “Snow White” teaches a lesson in cheerful naivete regarding the witch’s trick.
But that’s not Bell’s only contention with the fairy tale classic; it’s the method by which Snow White awakens from her poisonous slumber that really irks the actress.
I’m confused This is coming from the woman who voiced a Disney Princess who wants to marry a man she met for like an hour ??

Odd how Kristen Bell didn’t have a problem with Disney when she was cashing those Frozen checks.

I am survivor of abuse and for me as a child who grew up with Snow White, the story made me remember that not all men are abusers. Thats just my personal view. Know the difference between abuse and affection. He kissed her for love & to break a spell. Dont ruin the story for kids

“Don’t you think that it’s weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission?” Bell says she has asked her daughters.
“Because you cannot kiss someone if they’re sleeping!”
Bell frames the scenario as if the Prince just waltzed up to a sleeping woman and decided to take advantage of her when, in fact, his kiss saves her from the fate of eternal sleep.
