Subtle wordplay psychological move to reduce Joe Biden’s control of the White House
According to a leaked email from a federal government agency, language is seemingly being used to elevate Kamala Harris in all official correspondence.
The leaked email from Outspoken came from a high-ranking White House communications team member.
The email directs all agencies to refer to the Biden administration as the “Biden-Harris Administration.”
The directive reads, with “Biden-Harris Administration” accented in bold:
“Please be sure to reference the current administration as the ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in official public communications.”
The use of wordplay is a psychological move to reduce Joe Biden’s control of the White House.
The @WhiteHouse Twitter account now reads:
“Welcome to the Biden-Harris White House!”
This move was not seen in the Trump and Obama administrations.
On all 15 executive departments, only the president was named until now.
The email leaker wished to remain anonymous to avoid being targeted or harassed by the “Biden-Harris Administration.”
The subtle move caught the eyes of those who had noted Biden’s pattern of cognitive decline.
The subtle moves seem like Biden is gradually being pushed out and replaced by Kamala Harris.
Biden has been making bizzare gaffes recently, most notably referring to Kamla Harris as President.
“Now, when President Harris and I took a virtual tour of a vaccination center in Arizona, not long ago, one of the nurses on that tour injecting people, giving vaccinations, said that each shot was like administering a dose of hope,” Biden said at the time.
In December, Biden referred to Harris as “president-elect” during his remarks on COVID-19 in Wilmington, Delaware.
What is even more unusual is that Harris has been taking calls with foreign leaders.
She also took a call with the Prime Minister of Norway, Erna Solberg, without Biden present.
But some leaders see Harris’s overshadowing of Biden as unsettling.
“World leaders expect to hear from the President of the United States, not the Vice President,” former Ambassador to Germany and former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell said.
“There are certainly times when the Vice President has to step in but not for the introductory call.”
“The fact that the White House is instructing federal agencies to replace ‘Biden’ with ‘Biden-Harris’ after less than 60 days is indicative of the struggle Joe Biden is already having being President,” Grenell said.
“This is a signal that he can’t do the job alone.”
