Macron: British ‘Losers’ Voted For Brexit Because Of ‘Fake News’

French President claims British people were manipulated throughout EU referendum.

French President Emmanuel Macron spoke out at the town hall meeting in Normandy claiming the British people were “manipulated” into voting for Brexit because of “fake news” throughout the EU referendum.

The French leader spoke out following the British Parliament’s historic defeat of Prime Minister Theresa May’s soft Brexit agreement.

“The first losers of [No Deal Brexit] would be the British,” Macron said.

“It’s a referendum that has been manipulated, manipulated from outside by a lot of what we call fake news, where everything and anything was said,” he continued.

The French President then declared that pro-Leave politicians “lied to the people” and that what the British voted for in 2016 “is not possible.”

“Good luck to the representatives of the nation who has to implement a thing which doesn’t exist and has to explain to the people: you have voted on a thing, we lied to you,” he told an audience of over 600 mayors.

Macron went on to insist that Britain’s Brexit vote “says a lot” about the dangers of “[what] referendums — which may seem nice — can create.”

The Globalist president had spoken dismissively of the Yellow Vests protest movement and their demands for the right to hold Swiss-style citizens’ initiative referendums (RIC) on policy proposal which ain over n 700,000 signatures.

“We can make popular decisions by referendum… but not difficult ones,” Macron added.

French citizens became increasingly displeased with Macron’s globalist policies as huge 75 percent disapproved of his government and trust in his ministers, according to a poll by Odexa earlier this month.

The poll reported that just 25% percent said they were happy with Macron’s government.

The figures show a disturbing loss of popularity for Macron compared to April 2018 when a poll revealed just 59 percent of unhappy citizens, according to France Info.

Italy’s Matteo Salvini recently denounced President Emmanuel Macron for being a ‘President against his people.’

The leader of the Northern League said, although he supports the Yellow Vests, he “firmly” condemns violence within the protests.

“I support honest citizens who protest against a governing president [who is] against his people,” said the Italian deputy prime minister.

Brexit campaigner and political analyst Nigel Farage also slammed Macron last year for ‘virtue signaling to the world’ and ignoring ordinary citizens.

Globalist Macron spends his time virtue signaling to the world and has disconnected from ordinary French citizens. This is what happens when the people feel ignored.
