Hollywood leftist takes aim at GOP lawmakers
Left-wing Hollywood director Rob Reiner has attacked Republicans who are planning to challenge the electoral college results, accusing them of committing “sedition and treason.”
Reiner, who has repeatedly accused President Donald Trump of being a Russian asset, made the accusations during one of his unhinged Twitter tirades.
“Every Senator and Congressperson who votes to overturn the election will be committing an act of Sedition and Treason,” Reiner wrote.
Every Senator and Congressperson who votes to overturn the election will be committing an act of Sedition and Treason. Their names will be recorded for history.

“Their names will be recorded for history,” he added.
Numerous GOP senators and congressmen are preparing to challenge the electoral college results on January 6.
The reasons cited for challenging the results include:
Alleged acts of voter fraud
Lax enforcement of voting laws
Voting irregularities
GOP senators joining Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) in objecting to the electoral college vote include:
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
Marsha Blackburn (R-TN)
Steve Daines (R-MT)
John Kennedy (R-LA)
Mike Braun (R-IN)
They announced plans in a joint statement on Saturday, alongside four senators-elect.
At least 140 Republicans are expected to join the effort to challenge the results.
But there is no basis to Reiner’s claims that GOP lawmakers would be committing “sedition and treason.”
Several House Democrats objected to the electoral results of Trump’s presidential victory in 0216.
Biden fundraiser Reiner has made many unfounded accusations against President Trump, calling him everything from a murderer to a white supremacist.
