Robert De Niro: ‘Impeach and Imprison’ Trump to Make America Great Again

Hollywood icon slams Donald Trump, gets booed by the audience

Hollywood actor and public critic of Donald Trump, Robert De Niro, gave yet another foul-mouthed rant attacking the president at the American Icon Awards, but this time he faced boos from the audience.

The Goodfellas star began asking the crowd at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills, CA, “You didn’t think you were gonna get away without a f*ck Trump moment, did you?”

“The individual who currently purports to lead America is not worthy of any tribute,” Robert De Niro ranted.

“Unless you think of his impeachment and imprisonment as a sort of tribute.

“Now that’s how you can make America great again.”

De Niro’s remarks were first with applause, then eventually drowned out by boos.

The actor then tried to talk over the boos saying, “I’m going to say this — fuck Trump! It’s no longer ‘Down with Trump,’ it’s f*ck, Trump!”

De Niro has spent the last few years ranting about Trump so much; it’s hard to tell if even liberal Hollywood is getting bored of it.

Last month, De Niro unloaded on his president during an interview with Stephen Colbert, calling Trump as a “wannabe gangster” and “a total loser.”

The interview, which Colbert pointed out was taped Tuesday but aired Friday, came before Thursday’s highly anticipated public release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

The “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” host mentioned the report to frequent Trump critic De Niro, who portrays Mueller on “Saturday Night Live.”

“It’s my civic obligation to play Mueller,” De Niro told Colbert.

Last November, when De Niro presented Billy Crystal with the Friars Club’s entertainment icon award in New York City, the star first shouted, “F— Crystal!” as a wink to his condemnation of Trump at the Tony Awards earlier this year.

“I just get so upset with that jerkoff in the White House,” he said, drawing boos from the crowd.

“Boo is right! Down with this motherf—er!”
