Rubio Shares Video Purportedly Showing Ballots Carried In Private Cars (WATCH)

Viral video was posted to Twitter by Independent Congressional candidate Tim Canova

Florida Republican Senator Marco Rubio has Tweeted a video that allegedly shows ballots being transported by private cars before being packed onto a Truck on election night.

The viral video was posted to Twitter by Independent Congressional candidate Tim Canova.

“This video, posted by an Independent Cong candidate in 18 (who was endorsed by Bernie Sanders in 16) purports to show Broward County ballots being transported from polling places in private cars,” Rubio tweeted.

“Has anyone in local media looked into this claim or asked elections dept about it?”

“Concerned citizen sees ballots being transported in private vehicles & transferred to rented truck on Election night,” Canova wrote in his tweet. “

This violates all chain of custody requirements for paper ballots.”

Today, Neon Nettle reported that over 100 voters had been caught attempting to vote twice in the same election in a Democrat-dominated Florida county.

Election officials have reportedly rejected 108 ballots in Miami-Dade County from voters who turned up to pollings stations to vote a second time, according to a local media reporter.

The Daily Wire reached out to Canova to request more information about the video — including where it was taken and if Canova had contact information for the person who recorded it — and has not received a response.

Canova’s name has been in the news before in Broward County when he filed a lawsuit against Elections Supervisor Brenda Snipes to gain access to the ballots from the 2016 election after her office did not meet his request after three months.

The Sun-Sentinel reported that Canova was “checking for voting irregularities in the race.”

The Sun-Sentinel noted that a judge ruled that the “Broward County Supervisor of Elections Office violated state and federal laws by destroying ballots from a 2016 Congressional race too soon — and while the ballots were the subject of a lawsuit against the office.”

Earlier on Thursday, Rubio tweeted that Democrats and Florida election officials were trying to “steal” the election from Republican Rick Scott, noting that the Broward elections office had a history of “violating the law.”
