Army Brigadier General Anthony Tata blows the whistle on ex-CIA chief’s plan
Ex-CIA Chief John Brennan is plotting to overthrow President Trump, according to one of the US Army’s highest-ranking generals.
Army Brig. Gen. Anthony Tata has described the former CIA director as a “clear and present danger” to the United States who is conspiring to “overthrow” President Donald Trump.
Speaking on Fox News on Thursday, Tata revealed that Brennan is part of an Obama-loyal group planning a coup against Trump.
Brigadier General Tata, who is now retired, said Brennan’s Trump-bashing tweets and calling for his removal were grounds enough to revoke his security clearance.
“He spied on American citizens and lied in front of Congress about that spying,” Tata said on ‘Fox & Friends.’
“Question 29 on the security clearance form says, you know, ‘have you ever supported overthrowing the U.S. Government?’
“All of you got to look at Brennan’s tweets and he supports the removal of this president, and right there — that’s enough evidence to get rid of his clearance.”
Daily Caller reports: Host Brian Kilmeade then played a clip of GOP Sen. John Kennedy of Louisiana calling Brennan an embarrassment to the intelligence community and accusing him of being politically biased in his professional dealings.
“I’ve made my feelings known about Mr. Brennan. I think most Americans look at our national intelligence experts as being above politics,” Kennedy said.
“Mr. Brennan has demonstrated that that’s not the case.
“He’s been totally political.
“I think I called him a butthead and I meant it.
“I think he’s given the national intelligence community a bad name.”
President Trump has tied his decision to revoke the security clearance of ex-CIA Cheif John Brennan to the investigation into Russian election meddling.

“John Brennan is a clear and present danger and a threat to this nation,” Tata concluded.
“He supports the overthrow of this particular president.
“And he needed to have his access to information revoked.”
Earlier this week, President Trump tied his decision to revoke Brennan’s security clearance to the investigation into Russian election meddling.
During an interview, Trump attributed his decision to pull his clearance due to his role in early stages of the investigation into Russia’s potential interference in the 2016 election.
Speaking to The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, Donald Trump said that he considers Brennan, and other former intelligence officials whose clearances he’s considering revoking, among the ring-leaders of the “witch hunt” against him.
“I call it the rigged witch hunt, [it] is a sham. And these people led it!” Trump told the newspaper hours after it was announced Brennan’s clearance was being revoked.
