Trump: If You Want Hillary Clinton Investigated, Nominate Her to Supreme Court

President blasts Hillary and persecution of Kavanaugh during Texas rally

During a packed-out rally in Texas on Monday night, President Trump told the audience that, if they want to see Hillary Clinton thoroughly investigated for federal crimes, he’d need to nominate her for the Supreme Court.

In one fell swoop, Trump slammed the Democrats’ persecution of Justice Kavanaugh and the resulting disruption of the SCOTUS nomination process while criticizing the lack of investigation into Clinton’s alleged criminal activity.

In front of a record-breaking crowd of 100,000 people at the rally for Senator Ted Cruz, the president also took a swipe at the “fake news media” for attempting to smear Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearings.

“If you want them to investigate Hillary Clinton, we’ll just have to nominate her to the Supreme Court,” he said.

“Let’s see how she does.”

Clinton was exonerated by then-FBI Director James Comey for allegedly mishandling classified information in relation to a secret private email server kept in her home.

“If Justice Kavanaugh had to go through, and he’s a fine man, can you imagine Hillary up there [in a hearing]?” Trump asked.

Trump riffed that it would take “three to four years of questions” to satisfy Congress, judging by how deeply Kavanaugh’s history was probed.

Trump asked the crowd if they knew which president nominated the most Supreme Court justices, celebrating his record of nominating two Supreme Court Justices in just two years.

“No,” he joked.

“Hillary Clinton did not make it.”

Trump then revealed that George Washington nominated the most Supreme Court Justices, as he was president during the first Supreme Court.

“We are getting close,” he said.

Trump said he needed the support of conservative senators like Ted Cruz in the Senate.

“At stake in this election is whether we continue the extraordinary prosperity we have achieved or whether we let the radical Democrat mob take a giant wrecking ball and destroy our country and our economy,” he said.
