Trump is ‘Undoing Obama’s Mistakes’ In The Middle East, Top General Reveals

Retired Brigadier General Anthony Tata blames Obama for problems in Syria

President Donald Trump has been both praised and vilified for announcing his intention to pull US troops out of Syria, with many left-leaning news outlets claiming the move would cause more ‘chaos.’

But a retired Brigadier General Anthony Tata said Trump would not even be in this situation had former President Barack Obama not pulled the troops from Iraq in 2011.

Under Obama, ISIS had the freedom of conquering two-thirds of Iraq and Syria.

Tata explains that the Obama Administration decided to bury their heads in the and as ISIS began to gain territory, allowing them to grow unchecked.

Trump Tweeted about his decision to pull Troops from Syria two weeks ago.

“Getting out of Syria was no surprise. I’ve been campaigning on it for years, and six months ago, when I very publicly wanted to do it, I agreed to stay longer.”

“Russia, Iran, Syria & others are the local enemy of ISIS.”

“We were doing there work. Time to come home & rebuild.”

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton criticized Trumps’ decision to withdraw troops from Syria, claiming it would put the United States’ national security at risk.

The twice-failed Presidential candidate insisted the move was “empowering ISIS.”

“Actions have consequences, and whether we’re in Syria or not, the people who want to harm us are there & at war. Isolationism is a weakness.”

“Empowering ISIS is dangerous. Playing in Russia & Iran’s hands is foolish. This President is putting our national security at grave risk,” Clinton, the 2016 Democratic nominee for president, tweeted.

U.S. troops in Syria are supporting an alliance of rebel groups known as the Free Syrian Army, one of several who are fighting ISIS.
