Trump Jr. expressed his frustration following Robert Mueller’s testimony
Donald Trump Jr. expressed his frustration following Robert Mueller’s testimony on Capitol Hill, indicating that the former special counsel didn’t even know who was truly running his investigation.
Trump Jr added that “inmates were running the asylum” during the two-year inquiry.
He also suggested that Mueller was used as a “figurehead” for the Democrats, who were doing whatever they could to “destroy my father’s presidency.”
Trump Jr. added that the Democratic Party believed that Mueller was someone the American people would trust, and a result placed him on a pedestal.
He said, “this guy put in 19 leftist, Hillary Clinton donor lawyers … [Mueller] had no idea who was running the ship.”
Trump Jr. claims also pointed out that the Democrats continually chasing impeachment is now obstructing his father’s efforts to get laws passed that could help the American people.
The general consensus is the Mueller hearing has boosted Trump’s chances in 2020.
The fact that Mueller looked anything but sharp in his testimony, failing to respond appropriately and not commenting on specific questions, is something that has put Republicans in a much more favorable light.

Described as “frail” and “confused,” Mueller’s testimony did not live up to the expectations of many Democrats who were seemingly expecting anti-Trump bombshells.
The congressional hearing was widely considered to be disastrous for the Democratic Party but a victory for President Trump.
Following the hearing Wednesday, Speaker Pelosi was left unconvinced about opening impeachment proceedings against Trump.
Former Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) went as far as to say that Mueller’s testimony proved that he “clearly didn’t write” the Mueller report.
Gowdy made the statement during the Fox News Channel’s coverage of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s congressional hearing on Wednesday.
Fox News Contributor Gowdy said Democrats are “not closer to anything other than wishing this had never happened.
“Bad facts make for bad witnesses.”
