Footage shows Democrat addressing Revolution Somali Youth League in 2015
A newly discovered video has emerged showing radical Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) addressing the Revolution Somali Youth League and referring to her native Somalia as “our nation back home.”
Footage from the recently resurfaced speech is adding fuel to the fire of the allegations that the controversial lawmaker is anti-American.
In the short video clip, while reportedly speaking before the RSYL, Omar told the audience that the then-upcoming 2016 elections gave Somali-Americans the “ability” to influence the future of the United States, as well as Somalia.
“2016 is election cycle, and you guys have an ability to make an impact on where our nation is headed,” Omar declared.
“Not only here in the United States, but even our nation back home.”

The video was initially shared on Twitter by Georgia Republican Rep. Steven Smith last week, who included the hashtag #EmemyWithin.
The fact that she clearly differentiates between the United States and “our nation back home” led many on Twitter to suggest that her primary loyalty is not to the USA.
Democrats have been blasting President Donald Trump since his controversial tweets last week that targetted the so-called “AOC Squad“ of far-left members of the Democratic Party.
Trump suggested that Omar should help Somalia to fix the problems there and then come back to America to “show us how it is done.”
“The only country we swear an oath to is the United States,” tweeted Omar in response.
The “Squad” is a very Racist group of troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart. They are pulling the once great Democrat Party far left, and were against humanitarian aid at the Border…And are now against ICE and Homeland Security. So bad for our Country!

In a Monday tweet, President Trump slammed the Squad as “troublemakers who are young, inexperienced, and not very smart.”
“So bad for our Country!” he added.
Responding to mounting criticisms on Saturday, Omar lashed out at her president yet again.
The radical congresswomen accused Trump of being a racist who wants to deport “every black/brown person” in the country.
Omar made the claim in a Twitter post, citing the president’s “immigration policies”:
“You all should end this charade and accept that this racist president wants every black/brown person deported and Muslims banned
“His immigration policies say this much!”
Rep. Omar’s made the comment in reply to a tweet by Vice News criticizing Trump for saying that those who don’t love America should leave it:
“Trump says if you don’t love America, leave it.
“He’s been bashing the U.S. for years.”
