Kamala Harris took time to toss a coin at a college football game while thousands of illegal immigrants packed into squalid conditions in Del Rio, Texas.
On Saturday, Harris visited Audi Field in D.C. for the game’s opening coin toss in the game between her alma mater, Howard University, and Hampton University.
Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino encapsulated the absurdity of Harris’s visit in a tweet reminding her she was tapped specifically by Biden to handle the border crisis.

Over 10,000 men, women, and children have sought refuge under a bridge in Del Rio.
U.S. Representative August Pfluger (R, TX) told Fox News:
“Speaking to Border Patrol agents, the worst is yet to come, they’re worried about what is behind here, they’re worried about co-ordination with Mexico.”
The crisis took a turn for the worst when the Biden Administration halted deportation flights.
“The migrants have set up a de facto camp under the bridge to shelter from the 100-degree heat as their numbers swell and they wait to be processed by Border Patrol,” Fox News reported.
“Officials have rushed toilets, water, medical supplies, and other humanitarian aid to try and help.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R, TX) said the crisis could be solved if Biden would “simply following the law and reinstating deportation flights back.”
“When you have open borders, this is what you get,” Cruz said.
“This is wrong. This is not humane.”
“This is not compassionate. This is lawless, and it is inviting suffering. This needs to end.”
Meanwhile, Republican Gov. Greg Abbott sent in Texas law enforcement officials to storm the border and secure the Del Rio area.
Texas law enforcement officials now appear to have taken control of the situation in Del Rio.
“The Texas Department of Public Safety is in full force along the border around the Del Rio area,” Governor Abbott said in a tweet.
